Homemade Pork Breakfast Sausage


    • I lb ground pork (or chicken)
    • 2 tbs pure maple syrup
    • 1 tsp fennel seeds
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
    • 1/2 tsp sage
    • 1/2 tsp onion powder
    • 1/2 tsp allspice
    • 1/4 tsp garlic
    • 1/4 tsp cayenne
    • A little coconut oil to fry the patties
Makes about 8 sausage patties


  1. Add ground pork to a mixing bowl
  2. Sprinkle in all the above seasonings and the maple syrup
  3. Mix everything together with your hands
  4. Form 2 to 3-inch radius patties
  5. Add a little coconut oil to a frying pan and set to medium heat
  6. Place patties in pan and fry about 3 to 4 minutes per side or until meat is cooked through
  7. Serve sizzling hot with eggs and enjoy Homemade Pork Breakfast Sausage!
