Homemade Pork Breakfast Sausage
Ingredients:
- I lb ground pork (or chicken)
- 2 tbs pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp sage
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp garlic
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- A little coconut oil to fry the patties
Makes about 8 sausage patties
Instructions:
- Add ground pork to a mixing bowl
- Sprinkle in all the above seasonings and the maple syrup
- Mix everything together with your hands
- Form 2 to 3-inch radius patties
- Add a little coconut oil to a frying pan and set to medium heat
- Place patties in pan and fry about 3 to 4 minutes per side or until meat is cooked through
